Help
What do I drop in here?
A GPX file, the standard track format every running
and cycling app can export.
How do I get a GPX from my app?
- Strava: open the activity on the website, the three-dot
menu, then Export GPX.
- Garmin Connect: open the activity, the gear icon top
right, then Export to GPX.
- Apple Watch or Fitness: Apple has no direct GPX export.
A helper app like HealthFit or RunGap makes one, or send the
workout to Strava first and export from there.
- Komoot: open the tour, the three-dot menu, then Export
GPX.
- Ride with GPS: open the ride, More, then Export as GPX.
- Coros, Suunto, Polar, Wahoo: open the activity in the
brand's app or website and choose Export GPX.
On a phone, save the file first, then come back and drop it here.
To see how it all works before you go digging for a file, load the
sample race instead.
Is the preview free?
Yes, always. Previews carry a watermark. Exporting
the print files (PNG and SVG) uses one credit per poster, or is
included on the power user plan, which covers 40 exports every 24
hours. Re-downloading a poster you already exported is free either
way.
Where do the map layers come from?
Contours come from open elevation data and streets
from OpenStreetMap. Full attribution is on the
data credits page.
Can I get it printed and shipped?
Yes, in 5x7, 8x10, 12x18, and 18x24. Render
your poster at one of those sizes and choose ORDER PRINT.
