The course
Grant Park to Lake View and back, out west through the West Loop and Pilsen, down through Chinatown to Bronzeville, and home up Michigan Avenue. Flat and fast: the whole course moves about 25 feet top to bottom, and the one climb anyone remembers is the short rise on Roosevelt Road, a few hundred meters from the finish.
